Vail Police respond to recent bike thefts

VAIL — During the past week, the Vail Police Department has taken reports of eight bicycle thefts. These bicycles have been stolen from balconies, patios and bike racks —both locked and unlocked — at various times of the day and night.

Officers remind residents to be vigilant with their property and ensure that items are secured. Consider bringing bicycles and other valuables indoors, if possible.

Vail Police are encouraging anyone with information regarding the thefts or the identification of the suspect to speak to an available officer at 970-479-2201 or email information to vailpolice@vailgov.com.
