Vail police seek volunteers for new program

VAIL, Colorado – The Vail Police Department is seeking volunteers for our new Volunteers in Police Service Program. VIPS personnel provide services such as community bike patrol, school resource volunteer, neighborhood and business security patrol, handicap parking enforcement, traffic control, front desk duties, station tours and help with special events, including the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships and the Quizno’s Pro Challenge bike race.

Volunteers will be provided with all the necessary training and equipment.
