VAIL, Colorado – Vail Police hosted the annual Vail Police Department vs. Vail Fire Department softball game this past Saturday. Members of both organizations squared off in a very close game. About 100 members of the community came to watch the game and to help support Vail Police Sgt. Robyn Fetterolf, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Along with the game, a silent auction and raffle took place and over $6,000 was raised for Robyn. All of the proceeds from the game will be used to offset Robyn’s medical bills.

The Vail Police Department will continue to accept donations on Robyn’s behalf. In addition, donations will be accepted at Alpine Bank in Eagle, as well as through Facebook at goo.gl/DuQu4.

For more information about the game or to make a donation, contact Liffick at 970-479-2339 or jliffick@vailgov.com.
