Vail Resorts gets housing extension

What they said: The town of Vail, Colorado extended the date by which construction must begin on the employee housing planned by Vail Resorts for the North Day Lot. The complex would satisfy 120-bed employee housing requirement that is associated with Vail Resorts’ Arrabelle at Vail Square project. The deadline for commencement was changed from May 1, 2009, to May 1, 2010.

Steven Loftus was chosen for the Building and Fire Code Appeals Board.

What they said: Courier trucks such as U.S. Postal Service, UPS and FedEx trucks were allowed at certain areas on Gore Creek Drive, Willow Bridge Road, East Meadow Drive as modifications to the current program. The town will also explore building a lift device to connect the Vail Plaza Hotel loading dock with the Village Inn Plaza commercial area.
