Vail Resorts has new public affairs director

BROOMFIELD ” Beth Ganz, a former director of NARAL Pro Choice Colorado and voter registration activist, will become Vail Resorts’ director of public affairs on June 18.
One of Ganz’s jobs will be to work on transportation issues between the Front Range and the company’s mountain resorts. She also will oversee the company’s involvement with charitable organizations, particularly youth groups.
Since September 2005, Ganz has been executive director of America Votes, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that works to increase voter registration and political involvement.
Ganz also managed the reelection campaign of Colorado Congresswoman Diana DeGette in 1998 and went on to become executive director of the Colorado Democratic Party for two years beginning in 1999.
