Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

BROOMFIELD, Colorado – Vail Resorts’ hospitality division said Friday that it is seeking to hire more than 250 housekeepers for the winter season at its Colorado properties.

That number includes about 50 positions in Eagle County.

“The quickly approaching winter season is enabling us to provide new employment opportunities for job seekers in the Rocky Mountains,” said Evelyn Walter, director of human resources for Vail Resorts Hospitality. “With a statewide unemployment level of 8.5 percent, which includes unemployment rates of 7.7 percent in Eagle County and 7.9 percent in Summit County, we hope that this hiring initiative will be a catalyst to launch job growth within our company’s footprint in Colorado.”

Interested candidates have the opportunity to start as a seasonal or full-time housekeeper working at Vail Resorts’ lodging properties in Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.
