VAIL, Colorado – As Vail’s glorious fall season kicks into high gear, outdoor adventures and healthy lifestyle are the themes for week two of Vail Restaurant Month. All week long, culinary adventures whipped up by Vail’s top chefs are paired with active events, inspiring healthy cooking classes for kids, complimentary wine and spirits tastings, and themed happy hour parties.”This is one of our most exciting weeks for Vail, with two major celebrity events on Saturday,” said Vail Restaurant Month co-founder Ilene Rapkin. “Following our first week with so many sold-out events, I hope everyone visiting Vail will have the chance to meet Martha Rose Shulman at Terra Bistro, and Chris Carmichael and Ellen Miller at Run-Ride-Refresh.”Weekend highlights include “Run-Ride-Refresh” on Saturday at Vail Chophouse, sponsored by Bicycling Magazine, Runner’s World, Mot & Chandon Champagne, and Michelob Ultra. On the same day, an exclusive dining and cooking event hosted by Terra Bistro will feature New York Times columnist and best-selling cookbook author Martha Rose Shulman. All this week, Vail restaurants present inspiring and adventurous culinary experiences, from a “Whole Hog Dinner” at Restaurant Kelly Liken, to a gourmet vegetarian feast at La Tour, to a “Little Foodies in the Kitchen” dim sum cooking class for kids at the Sebastian.Vail Restaurant Month presents weekly themes highlighted by special events and activities for singles, couples, groups and families.
