VAIL, Colorado ” The town of Vail, Colorado is augmenting its summer bus schedule to include additional outlying service during the early winter season, Nov. 21 to Dec. 14. The supplementary route times are designed to provide riders with more options during the Thanksgiving holiday period and beyond prior to the start of the regular winter schedule on Dec. 15.

The supplemental buses are:

– An additional East Vail bus will depart from the Transportation Center every 30 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Buses will stop at Ford Park to accommodate skiers. In addition, a Ford Park route will be added from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with service every 15 minutes to the Vail Transportation Center. The East Vail route will provide service back to Ford Park during the afternoon.

– The Golf Course bus will include additional inbound service departing from the Transportation Center at 8:10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. plus an additional outbound service at 4:10 p.m. Buses will stop at Golden Peak and Ford Park to accommodate skiers.

– The West Vail Express will provide service for early morning workers from the Wendy’s parking lot, North Frontage Road parking and Timber Ridge apartments from 6 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

– An additional Sandstone bus will depart from the Transportation Center at 9:10 a.m. and at 3:10 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.
