Vail seeks to fill board vacancies

VAIL — The town of Vail is seeking community members to fill vacancies on three citizen boards. Openings exist on the Planning and Environmental Commission, Design Review board and Art in Public Places board. Applications for the planning and design review vacancies are due to the town by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, while vacancies for the art board openings are due at 5 p.m. Friday, March 4.

The Vail Town Council will conduct interviews for the planning and design review board applicants during its work session on March 1, with appointments to follow at its evening meeting. Interviews for the Art in Public Places Board openings will take place March 15 with appointments later in the evening. The terms become effective April 1 and expire March 31, 2018 for all three boards.
