Vail shoe sale benefits MS foundation
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado ” Colorado Footwear’s third annual “Stepping Up for MS – The Shoe Sale with Soul,” will be held on Vail Village’s International Bridge, June 21, to benefit The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis.
One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the Edwards-based Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis, which works to help people suffering the disease remain active.
Shoes at the sale will be 50 percent to 70 percent off.
“We decided to get involved after hearing about The Heuga Center’s individualized approach to teaching people with MS how to manage this unpredictable disease,” said Sally Rosenthal, who owns Colorado Footwear with her husband, Steve.
The money raised by the sale goes to fund scholarships for participants of the Center’s programs. Last year’s sale raised over $9,000 and this year’s goal is to top $12,000.
The sale starts at 10 a.m. and continues until all shoes are sold. Some of the name brands featured are Steve Madden, Puma, Cole Haan, Born, Pikolinos, as well as exclusive Italian Colorado Footwear brands.
