Vail skatepark to open May 22

VAIL, Colorado ” Crews will begin rebuilding the skatepark on the top level of the Lionshead parking garage in Vail, Colorado May 11 and it should open May 22.

The park will have a half-pipe, pyramid, multiple ramps, transitions, rails and banks, plus a street course area for younger or less experienced riders. The park, built by Hazard County Construction, will be open form dawn to dusk until mid-October.

Helmets are required for all skaters. Bikes and scooters are not permitted.
