Vail ski-a-thon benefits children’s foundations

VAIL, Colorado ” A ski-a-thon will be held on Vail Mountain in Colorado later this month to raise money to fight diabetes, cancer and heart defects and HIV in children.

The fifth annual Cruisin’ for Kids, hosted by Alpine Children’s Charity, takes place March 27. The race benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Children’s Heart Foundation, Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Red Ribbon Project: AIDS Awareness for Youth.

Local youth can participate by raising $100 in pledges for their day of skiing.
