Vail: Snow should move in later Sunday

VAIL, Colorado – Snow, rain and dust could move into the Vail Valley as Sunday progresses, the National Weather Service says.

High winds could kick up dust ahead of the storm, the Weather Service says.

The Weather Service forecast for Sunday is mostly cloudy, with a high near 52 and winds between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Less than half an inch of snow is expected to fall during the day.



For tonight, snow likely, with a low around 17. Up to three inches of snow could fall, the Weather Service says.

Snow remains likely Monday, with another few inches falling, the Weather Service says.



Snow could linger into Tuesday, with another storm possible later in the week, the Weather Service says.
