Vail: Sonnenalp tops magazine’s reader survey
The Sonnenalp Resort of Vail has been ranked as the top hotel in Colorado on the “T + L 500 – The World’s Best Hotels” list in Travel + Leisure magazine’s annual readers’ survey, which will be featured in its January 2011 issue. Hotels are ranked in categories such as rooms, service, restaurants, value and location. Readers participating in the ninth annual survey gave the Sonnenalp an overall score of 92.52. Other Vail Valley hotels making the list included the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch (89.58), the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa (86.77) and the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa (86.61).
