Free family fun tonight: Vail to host Disney nature film ‘Oceans’ at Ford Amphitheater
On Friday, Aug. 25, the town of Vail’s Environmental Sustainability Team will host a free evening at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater featuring a summer nature film about our planet’s five oceans through the eyes of the creatures that inhabit them.
Disneynature’s family-friendly film “Oceans” shows the world that exists beneath the waves. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the evening will include two short films about Gore Creek and preserving the watercourses in Vail’s back yard, followed by the showing of “Oceans” at 7 p.m.
Seating on the lawn and in the amphitheater is free. The amphitheater concessions will offer a movie night special, including popcorn and a drink. For details about this and other upcoming activities, contact Pete Wadden, watershed education coordinator, at 970-479-2144 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
