Vail Symposium hosts ‘Map of Heaven’ author Monday News News | Mar 13, 2015 The Vail Symposium's Living at Your Peak Consciousness series kicks off Monday when Dr. Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon and New York Times best-selling author, returns. Alexander will discuss his new book "Map of Heaven," and share new stories about near-death experiences and what various people have to say about the soulâs survival of death at Arrabelle at Vail Square at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and expected to sell out. On Tuesday, Alexander will put on a workshop with Karen Newell who will teach attendees about unique sound meditation while Alexander discusses findings from current research on science and spirituality.
