Vail to sell unrestricted pass for $579 next year
BROOMFIELD ” Vail Resorts said Tuesday it will sell an unrestricted season pass for next year for all five of its resorts for $579.
The price is less than one-third the cost the unrestricted pass that Vail sells this year. It’s also significantly less than the price of this year’s merchant pass, which sold for $869 and was restricted on several holidays.
The “Epic Season Pass” will be good at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly for all of 2008-09 with no restrictions. It will cost $279 for kids.
The pass will be available through Nov. 15.
The price of the merchant pass will be lowered to match the Epic Pass, said spokeswoman Kelly Ladyga.
The popular Colorado Pass, which sold last year for $419, includes unlimited access at Breck, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin plus 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek.
