Vail Town Council saves Premier Impressions programs

Rich tenBraakVail, CO, Colorado

The Vail Chamber & Business Association would like to give a big thank-you to the Vail Town Council, town of Vail staff and Vail Resorts. The council unanimously voted Tuesday to support of the Premier Impressions program. Vail Resorts also gave its support to the program earlier in the week. This combined support for the merchants from both the town of Vail and Vail Resorts ensures that Premier Impressions will be in place this winter. Premier Impressions is a customer service program designed to reward employees of business who have direct positive interaction with our guests and customers. Whenever a guest receives noteworthy customer service, they simply fill out a Premier Impressions form indicating what happened and who was involved. Employees who are nominated will receive a $50 gift certificate as a thank-you for doing a great job in customer service. These certificates can be for retail, restaurants, dry-cleaning and gas. Award winners also earn an automatic invitation to an end-of-season party. At the party, all nominees are entered into an additional drawing for prizes that in 2009 included mountain bikes, cash, skis, snowboards, ski passes, and an expense-paid trip. These guest service nominations always brighten up the day for the nominees. The Premier Impressions program is one of the many programs that the Vail Chamber is proud to support, but it wouldn’t happen without the support of the town, Vail Resorts and the many great business and employees that make up Vail. There is no way we could do this on our own. The Vail Chamber is currently holding a membership drive for our winter cycle. The leading business advocacy group for businesses in Vail, the Vail Chamber & Business Association is a communications outlet for businesses that need to have a voice.
