Come celebrate the season of light at Vailâs tree lighting on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy hot cocoa, entertainment, ice sculptures, and Vailâs Paper Lantern Project, as we gather to light Vailâs stunning holiday tree. Along with many other guests and residents, Vailâs Girl Scout Troop 3752 made lanterns this week to bring to the tree lighting! Art in Public Places will provide free LED lights at the festivities, so you too can illuminate your lantern Sunday evening. An addition this season is the unveiling of The Seventh Annual Triumph Winterfestâs Logan Luminescence that will dazzle with 70 illuminated ice lanterns installed throughout Slifer Plaza by the Covered Bridge in Vail Village.
There will be a Dickens Christmas free concert at the Vail Interfaith Chapel today at 7 p.m.
Both the Dickens Carolers and Mountain Harmony will be performing traditional carols for an hour-long concert.
