VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” I am a Vail Valley, Colorado resident and currently a junior at the University of Colorado at Boulder. College has really helped shape me, build character, challenge me, motivate me and bring me into an amazing place of opportunity and community.

I am double majoring in integrated physiology and business management and plan to continue my career by attending physical therapy school after graduation. However, the biggest blessing has been being able to attend and now be a part of a college ministry. This non-dominational group based out of the First Presbyterian Church of Boulder is known as The Annex.

To further help my career and pursue my passion for helping others, I am volunteering and going on a mission trip this winter. This year I am going to Dublin, Ireland from Dec. 27 to Jan. 8. I will be going with a team of about 30 college-age people.

We will be working with Young Life International, a group committed to creating relationships with kids and teenagers by meeting them on their own turf in the interest of friendship. As the leaders get to know the teenagers, they are able to share the love of Jesus Christ though Young Life club and trips to camp. We will be participating in various community outreach services, such as house repair, yard work, construction and helping to start Young life in the area.

You have the opportunity to support me by making a tax deductible donation. The trip costs $2,200 and I would greatly appreciate any amount you feel led to give. If you choose, you can make out any checks to “First Presbyterian Church” or FPC with “Ireland trip” in the memo line. You can send it to me at:

Thank you so much I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a community I can feel comfortable asking for financial and prayer support.
