The group plays classic covers from the ’60s and ’70s to modern rock songs of the past two decades. Vail NYE concert with Thievery Corporation at Dobson Ice Arena in Vail. DJ Logic will open the show. Vail Ale House New Year’s party hosts Yamn. Yamn, a popular Denver-based quartet, will celebrate its return to the Rocky Mountains in what’s destined to be a classic evening at the Vail Ale House, ringing in the new year with a full two-set performance. The Minturn Saloon will host local favorites The Min’urn Express for its New Year’s Eve party. The band includes Scotty Kabel, Joe Bianchi, Jeff Armistead and Cowboy Brian. All of these musicians are veterans of the valley music scene, having been part of bands such as Little Hercules, Bonfire Dub, the Turntable Review and more. Kabel said the Min’urn Express will play “tasty music that spans the decades.” The band will crank up the music in the bar starting about 9 p.m. The cover charge is $5. Come earlier for dinner.
