Vail Valley artists group plan exhibition in April

VAIL, Colorado – The Eagle Valley Artists Alliance is seeking artists for a Vail Valley exhibition at Alpine Arts Center in Edwards April 1-30. The opening reception will be held on April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.

All artwork must be original and EVAA membership is required to enter work into the show. All media will be accepted. Size limit is 44-inches by 50-inches for wall displayed pieces, and 44-inches by 50-inches by 36-inches for sculptures. All wall art must be ready to hang and sculptures able to stand unaided. The number of entries may be limited based on the number of participants, and every member will be designated the same amount of display space. Entries may be for sale. A 30 percent commission will be taken for any artwork that sells during the exhibition.

Non-members may complete an Eagle Valley Alliance membership application prior to the submission deadline in order to participate in this exhibit. For membership information, e-mail or visit the Web site,

The Eagle Valley Artists Alliance is a visual arts organization in the Vail Valley whose mission is to promote visual arts in the community by developing opportunities for artists to create and show their work, and inspiring the community to participate in and experience art.

The members art exhibition represents one of a series of exhibits that EVAA has planned for 2010.
