The lockers are gigantic – eight feet high, two feet deep and 18 inches wide with eight individual boot dryers in each locker for the four-person lockers and six individual boot dryers in each locker for the three-person lockers. There’s room for all your skis, snowboards and gear! We’re open to the public with no initiation fees, and only steps from the Beaver Creek Village bus stop and next to Beaver Creek chair lifts. Beaver Dam Locker Club members will receive member discounts at Christy Sports, Rock’s Modern Grill and Beaver Creek Lodge.What’s new or exciting at your place?We provide locker room access 24 hour per day, with free Wi-Fi access. Christy Sports is providing Beaver Dam Club members with a 50 discount on all ski & snowboard rentals and tuning. Doug Blue of Azure Construction is consulting on the construction, and Misha Moritz of M-Web Interactive is building the Website.Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I moved to Avon in 1984 to teach skiing after going to college at United States International University on a ice hockey scholarship. I started Eclipse Television & Sports Marketing in 1993. In 1998 I started Gravity Television & Sports Marketing, where we consulted Fortune 500 companies including Charles Schwab and America Online with their sports marketing programs. Our headquarters was in the Beaver Creek Lodge. Now the Gravity office is being turned into the Beaver Dam Locker Club!What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I decided to move forward with this business when I said if I can secure the domain name http://www.beaverdamclub.com, that would be a sign to move forward. To my surprise the domain name was available for $39 per year. From that point forward I have never looked back!
