What goods or services do you provide? We produce the “cartbellini,” a golf cart slipcover that fit snuggly and comfortably over the seat and back rest of any golf cart. The cartbellini not only protects your skin from the elements on the standard vinyl seats, but it also allows you to show off your unique personality and style while on the golf course!

Cartbellinis aren’t just for golfers, though! They are for anyone who drives a golf cart, and a person doesn’t even have to own his/her own cart to benefit from the use of our covers. Our careful design allows the slipcovers to be slipped on and off easily, without complicated straps, hooks, latches and buckles. Cartbellinis can go with you and can be used on any rented cart at your favorite courses.

Each slipcover is made out of high-quality, outdoor fabric that comes in an array of stylish prints. All slipcovers are sold in a full set which includes the seat cover, the back rest cover and a tote bag. Covers are universal fit and can be used on carts including Club Cars and Yamahas. Monogramming is available for an additonal fee.

What’s new or exciting at your place? Cart Chic will introduce our product to the golf world Jan, 27, 28 and 29 at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando, Fla. The covers will be displayed in the New Product Center, Booth 3800.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Why do we call our slipcover a Cartbellini? We can’t think of a better analogy for our product and our company. Golf and a bellini is the perfect combination of tradition, sophistication, fun and luxury.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Our customers can expect to be treated with complete and sincere respect at all times. We are a new company and we realize that our customers’ experience and satisfaction with our product is the key to our success. If our customers aren’t happy with Cart Chic, then we haven’t succeeded in our company’s vision is to bring fun, style and luxury to the game.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I grew up in Kansas. As a kid, my family and I made the 11-hour road trip west to Colorado several times a year. We went to Vail in the winters and Snowmass in the summers. My grandparents instilled the love of golf in all of us. I was also fascinated by the mountains and always believed that one day I’d end up living in Colorado.

I went to University of Kansas and moved to Vail the day after graduation. Like a lot of people, my plan was to stay for one year – I stayed for almost eight. In July 2009, I moved my entire family back up to the mountains – now I’m back where I belong!

What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? The best is yet to come!
