What goods or services do you provide? We are the Gypsum area’s premier “one stop” self storage and moving center. We cater to locals in the Vail Valley. As a U-Haul dealership, we rent trucks and trailers for the “do it yourself” crowd. We also rent dollies and blankets to protect your belongings and have an assortment of boxes and packing material for sale.

If you need help with your move, we have a list of local movers who can assist you with your move, whether big or small.

What’s new or exciting at your place? Our site was designed to accommodate large moving vehicles and trailers. We just had a 60-foot truck drop furniture off at our site and it was able to maneuver with no problems. The doors to our storage units are larger to accommodate trailers and vehicles. Due to the larger driveways, backing and moving trailers and vehicles is a breeze.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? We are 100 percent about customer service, which puts us over the top. We strive to be available at all times during working hours. If we leave the site, we forward the phones so we can always answer questions for our customers. We like to know our customers and always have an inviting cup of coffee or bottled water to share with them at no cost. This gets them into the office provides some time to get to know each other.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? We know our customers aren’t having fun moving or storing their belongings. Sharing a soda or a couple pieces of candy puts a smile on their face, if only for a moment. Because we pride ourselves in getting to know our clients personally, we can assist with a variety of services, including: connecting clients who might want to share a space; introducing clients who have classic vehicles; networking for our customers who provide services in the valley.

Our customers expect a clean, secure and inviting site where they can handle their moving and storage business. When moving furniture and other items into storage, our driveways are large enough that you will not have to move your truck so others can pass by to their unit.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: Kevin Kenney has been a Realtor in Beaver Creek since 1998 and has lived in the valley since 1989. Gerald Ogier lives in Florida, but has a home just outside of Snowmass. Gerry uses the facility to store his vehicle as he commutes to and from Eagle County Regional Airport.

What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? Our facility is 100% gated and secured. Access is only via customers personal code at the entrance and exit gate. One evening someone followed a customer onto our site. They were stuck inside our secured location because they had no code to exit. Fortunately we have emergency numbers listed on our office and were available late in the evening to provide an exit code. The customer later came back and rented a storage unit from us due to the “outstanding” security of our facility and the customer service we provided even late into the evening hours.
