Plush Pups is a full service grooming salon with a four-step bathing system so your dog stays cleaner and better-smelling between grooms. Also included in your groom is nail trimming/filing, ear cleaning, tooth brushing, breath freshener and coat conditioning.What’s new or exciting at your place? I am excited to be in the Vail Valley, having recently moved here from Montana to open my business. Moving here has been a wonderful experience. I have enjoyed the beauty of the valley and look forward to meeting more wonderful people.What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Plush Pups is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. I believe that being available to customers on weekends will be a great service. Also, Plush Pups will keep the volume of dogs low so clients’ dogs get the best groom possible. What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Plush Pups’ main goal is to create the type of groom that the customer desires for their pet in a safe, warm and friendly environment. My goal is to meet every need of the customer and pet to ensure that both dogs and humans have a pleasant, happy experience.Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I have two years experience in the grooming industry and am a graduate of Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, Ky. Nash Academy is a world-renowned groom school that has students from all over the world in their program. The school is also often featured in “Groomer to Groomer” magazine.What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I just opened but I am looking forward to having some comical things happen. Dogs are such wonderful, funny animals.
