What goods or services do you provide? Retail mattress sales. We sell Tempurpedic, Therapedic, and Simmons Beautyrest as well as pillows, frames, mattress pads and more.

What’s new or exciting at your place? Among products we carry, theSimmons Beautyrest line is new. So is the new Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme. Otherwise, I’m new and exciting!

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? I’ve been in the business for more than 20 years and I know what people hate about buying a new bed. I try to be honest and helpful and get people in the right bed for them.

Too many times the big box stores don’t really know how to get someone in the right bed and the experience is just awkward. I try to make it personable, easy, and convenient, putting you in the right bed for your budget. I guess my style of doing business is what sets me apart. In addition, I guarantee my price, offer free delivery, and offer a two week “test rest” to make sure you are happy with your bed.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Give the customer a value and a great experience. Be friendly, yet knowledgeable about the product. People want to know we’ll take care of any issues instead of looking for ways to not take care of it. I put myself in my customers shoes and treat them the way I would want to be treated.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: My background is furniture. I have more than 20 years of both retail and wholesale furniture/mattress experience. I was born in Alabama and am the world’s largest Alabama football fan. I’ve worked as a sales rep on the wholesale side and I’ve worked for some of the big box stores.

What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I had a customer “test rest” a mattress for about three hours with their own personal blanket and pillow from home. Snored the whole time. They woke up happy and bought the bed.
