AVON The new Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon has announced two fly fishing packages for fall tourists. The Angler Immersion package includes a private casting clinic and two guided fly fishing excursions led by Gore Creek Fly Fisherman. Starting at $999 for two people, the package includes two nights lodging, a half-day wade trip on the Eagle River and a full-day float trip down the Colorado River. All equipment, licenses, transportation and lunch on the full-day trip are included. The River Explorer package starts at $279 for two people and includes two nights lodging, a stocked fly box, a local river map and a tip sheet with favorite fishing spots provided by Gore Creek Fly Fisherman.The packages are available from Oct. 1 to Nov. 15. Evans Chaffee Construction Group is hosting the 7th Annual Kickball Classic and Pancake Breakfast Aug. 16 to raise funds for The Youth Foundation.
