EDWARDS ” JoAnn C. Moore, wedding consultant and owner of Mountains and Meadows Wedding and Event Planning, received the national title of “Certified Professional Wedding Consultant” from the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants, an international organization of professional wedding consultants. Moore is the first and only person in Colorado to achieve this designation.

To achieve a Certified-Professional title from the national group, a wedding consultant must complete extensive training, complete a project assigned by the organization, follow a code of ethics and have significant experience, followed by numerous letters of recommendation from previous clients. As a



Certified-Professional Wedding Consultant, the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants has recognized Moore as an expert in her craft.

“In the 19 years as director of ACPWC, I would say that JoAnn is one of the top 10,” said Ann Nola, founder and director of the national group. “She is professional, ethical and a true leader in our field in the state of Colorado.”



Moore has lived in the VailValley for 28 years, and has been planning events for over 25 years including private parties, corporate parties and town festivals. Her business, Mountains and Meadows, LLC is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and the Vail Valley Partnership. Her weddings have been featured on American Bride TV and in print in Rocky Mountain Bride, Colorado Weddings Magazine, Premier Bride Magazine and the Vail Valley Wedding Guide.



“I fully understand the significance of a couple’s wedding day. I enjoy the creative aspect of taking ideas from a bride and groom and making their wedding unique and beautiful,” Moore said. “A wedding is one of the most important celebrations in the life of a couple.
