Catherine Jones Coburn a broker with Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate in the Vail Valley, was named by ColoradoBiz Magazine as one of Colorados Most Powerful Salespeople in the January 2009 issue. Coburn was recognized as one of the top five most powerful salespeople in the state and is featured on the cover of the publication.With $201 million in sales in 2007, Jones ranked fifth nationally among 1.2 million real estate agents, according to The Wall Street Journal and Lore Magazine. Shes been the top-selling agent in Bachelor Gulch Village for nine years running. She was also recently inducted into the Whos Who of Luxury Real Estate Billionaires Club.Jones was the listing agent for two of the highest priced single-family homes ever sold in Beaver Creek Resort and Bachelor Gulch Village at $10.9 million and $11.5 million respectively in the spring of 2005. Mike Wolf has been named to the newly created position of director of industry relations and business development for DSC, formerly Destination Services Corporation. Wolfs job is drive more group business into Colorado. Since 2002, Wolf has been general manager of DSCs Denver division. Wolf has played a role in many of the convention-business successes in Denver including citywide conferences for tens of thousands of guests and high-end corporate events. In addition to his role at DSC, Wolf is the president-elect for Destination Colorado, a statewide organization that contacts meeting planners and others to make conference site selection and planning more convenient. This position will utilize DSCs current market positions, past affiliations, personal relationships and strong reputation to enhance industry and corporate relationships to achieve continued growth, Wolf said.
