The Vail Valley Business Forum, scheduled for July 29 at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek from 8 – 11:30 a. m., will bring regional experts from around the state of to talk about the “new economy” and explore how Vail Valley businesses can adapt to benefit their business and gain market share.Keynote Speaker Thomas Frey has started 17 businesses and has assisted with the development of hundreds more. Frey takes a larger view of the business playing field including shifts in governance, system changes, evolving attitudes and human conditions, and more. “The greatest value in understanding the future comes from spotting the major cultural, demographic, societal, and economic shifts early and translating them into viable business strategies,” Frey said.Frey address will be followed by a panel discussion focused on th “new economy, what’s next and how you can adapt.” Panelists include Kelly Brough, CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce; Ralf Garrison, president of The Advisory Group/Mountain Travel Research Program; Walter Isenberg, CEO/President of Sage Hospitality; and Don Morostica, director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.”The Vail Valley Partnership is thrilled to bring this diverse panel to Eagle County. The Vail Valley Business Forum is an opportunity for local businesses to interact with our panel on a variety of subjects including macro to micro economic trends, travel trends and other topics relevant to doing business,” said Chris Romer, Executive Director of the Vail Valley Partnership. The forum also includes a Business Expo that allows businesses to exhibit their latest services and products. Up to 35 local businesses will be present during the networking portion of the event before and after the panel discussion. Tickets to the Vail Valley Business Forum are available for $40 (Vail Valley Partnership members), $50 (other chamber or business association members) and $80 (non-members of any Eagle County business association or chamber). Booths for the Business Expo are available for $100 and include one ticket to the forum. RSVP’s are required.
