Vail Valley: Celebrate, learn about Eagle River

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – The Eagle River Watershed Council and Eagle Valley Trout Unlimited will host a special pre-season opening at the Wolcott Yacht Club at 5 p.m., May 21.

The event, “Eagle River Why: The Past, Present and Future of Our Watershed,” is an educational opportunity to learn about the rivers in the area and a kick off to the beginning of the recreational water season.

This event also follows a float of the Eagle River by state and local policy makers and agency representatives who will be available at the party to answer questions about the river. The Eagle River Watershed Council is a local group that works to keep the Eagle River and its watershed healthy.



Tickets are $40 per person, $75 per couple, $100 per family. Tickets include barbecue, live Bluegrass music, Lava Lake Wit Beer and an ice cream sundae bar. Kids are welcome.
