VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – The Eagle County Charter Academy had a canned food drive in Colorado’s Vail Valley over the past few weeks and collected 554 food items – 523 pounds of food.

The food was donated to the Vail Valley Salvation Army in time for its donations of Thanksgiving food boxes for needy families in the valley. The Salvation Army distributed more than 500 food boxes.
