Vail Valley crime: Cars broken into in Edwards

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” A shotgun and ammunition were stolen when six cars were broken into late Wednesday or early Thursday in residenital areas of Edwards.

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says all of the cars were unlocked.

The Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to lock their doors and roll up windows when they leave their car for any length of time. Deputies also recommend covering up any valuables left in the car.

Anyone who believes their vehicle was broken into in the Edwards area should call 970-479-2200 to make a report.
