Vail Valley: Deadline looms to apply for ‘Ultimate Business Makeover’
VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – The deadline to apply for a $50,000 “Ultimate Business Makeover” is Oct. 1. One Vail Valley business will win the prize, which includes both goods and services.Strive & Thrive Inc., an Eagle County non-profit organization which helps small- and medium-sized businesses, is holding the contest, and this week announced it had landed more sponsors for the makeover. Health benefits company Humana Inc. and the Vail Daily join Microsoft as platinum sponsors, and NRC Broadcasting has become a gold sponsor. Other sponsors include KZYR, Associates Health Group, Peak Performance Imaging Solutions and Michael Rawlings Photography.The Ultimate Business Makeover will be given to one small or mid-sized business chosen by the founders of Strive & Thrive.
