Vail, CO, Colorado
Two Vail Valley interior design companies are among 28 such companies from the around the state selected to transform the historic Cowperthwaite estate in Denver into a show house to benefit The Children’s Hospital.
The show house is at 1625 East 3rd Ave., in Denver’s historic Country Club neighborhood. Tours of the home will take place April 8-10 and April 15-17, with all ticket proceeds to benefit The Children’s Hospital.
“This home is very special. It is in pristine, vintage condition and the possibilities are endless and exciting,” project co-chairwoman Trish Bragg said. “The designers will each work in different rooms to showcase their individual talents. We are excited to inspire our community with today’s freshest interior design for the benefit of such an important cause.”
Local designers include:
• Amy Lee Casey and Sarah Carr of Slifer Designs in Vail.
• Lisa Kanning of Worth Interiors in Vail.
Built in 1909, the Cowperthwaite estate has been in the family for over a century. It will be offered for sale for the first time in April 2011.
