AVON, Colorado –A vehicle failed to get into the left lane while deputies were making a traffic stop on the right shoulder of I-70 in Avon, last week.

A deputy pulled the vehicle over and asked the driver for his license. The man told the deputy he had misplaced his license and instead handed him a Connecticut I.D. card.

The deputy ran the man’s name through dispatch and discovered the man’s driver’s license had been revoked for multiple alcohol convictions. While arresting the man, the deputy found a Colorado driver’s license stuffed in his sock.

The man was charged with driving a vehicle under restraint for alcohol and failure to yield to emergency vehicles.
