Vail Valley: Eagle business group launches membership drive with bowling
Vail, CO, Colorado
One Eagle, a new business advocacy group in the Vail Valley town of Eagle, is kicking off its first membership drive with a party at The Back Bowl on June, 30. The event is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is free and includes pizza and bowling, with a cash bar. The event is open to members and Eagle business owners and residents who would like to learn more about the organization, its goals and how to get involved.
“The success of this organization is due to the early momentum we have developed with a terrific lineup of successful events,” One Eagle president Doug Seabury said. “It couldn’t happen without the many volunteers who are committed to the community, whether they are business owners, residents, or both. What we’re giving people is the chance to be a part of a grassroots organization that will truly shape our community.”
Membership benefits include the ability to promote a business, events or community activities through the One Eagle e-mail database and discounts on marketing resources and promotional opportunities on the One Eagle Web site, which is currently in the final development stages.
“OneEagle.org will provide Eagle with a great community hub and allow member businesses who may not have their own site to gain a presence on the Web,” board member Kelly Malin said.

Snow usually comes and goes in this part of the state. A forecasted storm is expected to stick around for a while. Forecasters are calling for snow to persist throughout the weekend in the high country, with a prospect of a couple of feet of powder by the time the storm starts to diminish on Monday.
