Vail Valley: Eagle River Station developer opens Nevada Project
Vail, CO, Colorado
RED Development – developer of the proposed Eagle River Station project in the Vail Valley town of Eagle – has opened its most recent project, The Legends at Sparks Marina, in Sparks, Nevada.
The new complex opened 24 stores last week, with another 16 stores scheduled to open by Aug. 1.
“(RED) worked tirelessly with our city staff and gave us great insight and a beautiful product to our community which will go a long way toward raising the awareness of our city, and increasing tourism and revenue for our region,” Sparks Mayor Geno Martini said.
The opening last week attracted several hundred people, including the Sparks City Council and construction team. Project backers say the development will created more than 700 full-time jobs and that number will grow to more than 2,500 when all phases are finished.
“Even in a tough economy, RED Development continues to have successful projects opening throughout the country,” Mike Hans of RED Development said. “The project in Sparks took five years of long, hard work but we believed in it and the town believed in us. We are now focused on Eagle River Station and the excitement of bringing the same success we have in Sparks to Eagle.”

Are we seeing more bears because there are more bears on the valley floor, or because we’re all spending more time at home? It could be a bit of both.
