Vail Valley: Eagle Valley Chamber to host membership event Oct. 15

The Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce is in the midst of its annual membership drive for businesses throughout the Vail Valley.
The chamber this year has sponsored and sent volunteers to events including the Lane Frost Bull Riding event in March, The Screaming Eagle Golf Tournament in May, The Rocky Mountain Horse and Burro Adoption in June, Gypsum Daze in July, a roller derby match in August, Romp the Runway at the Eagle County Airport in September and the Business and Economic Forum held at the County Building Oct. 1.
The chamber will also host the annual Indian Summer Golf Tournament later this month at Eagle Ranch Golf Course.
The “Annual Meeting and Membership Soiree” is Oct. 15 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Brush Creek Pavilion in Eagle Ranch. Food and beverages will be provided by local businesses and there will be prize drawings.
The meeting will include a “State of the Chamber” address and current and prospective members can learn about the chamber’s benefits for 2010 along with a special annual rate for new and returning members.
