Vail Valley: Family Learning Center preschool has openings
Vail, CO, Colorado
The Family Learning Center, a non-profit, non denominational, year ’round child care center in the Vail Valley community of Edwards, has openings in the preschool department. New students must be at least three years old and potty trained.
The preschool uses “Creative Curriculum,” which allows each teacher to observe children in the classroom and plan activities based on the child’s interest.
Director Sandra Jennings has 14 years of experience in early childhood development and is active in the daily routine of all classes at the facility.
“The staff shows dedication to the children and families and a commitment towards their personal and professional growth,” Jennings said.
Preschool activities include daily outdoor play, circle time, small groups, writing, quiet time, projects and family style meals. Breakfast, lunch and snack is provided daily and cooked on site. There are three outdoor, age-appropriate playgrounds. Indoor play is in the classroom and the “Big Room,” a large, indoor space with toys, bikes, climbing gyms and more.
