Vail Valley: FirstBank unveils new electronic banking services

FirstBank Holding Company, the Lakewood-based holding company for FirstBank, which has several Vail Valley branches, has announced a new “eSave” account package. The package, which consists of a linked checking and savings account, gives customers a range of automatic transfer options to increase their personal savings.
With the new package, customers have the choice of automatically transferring between a penny to $99.99 to their savings account each time they use their Visa Check Card, pay a bill electronically or transfer funds. There is also an option to round debit card and automated transactions to the nearest dollar amount with the difference deposited into their savings.
The eSave checking and savings account package requires no minimum balance and includes a Visa Check Card and Internet Banking with eStatements. Customers are also encouraged to use Internet services such as bill pay and e-mail/text account alerts.
