Vail Valley golfers aim for 400 rounds for charity
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL VALLEY – Four Cordillera golf pros will try to play 100 rounds each in Colorado’s Vail Valley Tuesday to raise money for the March of Dimes. The money will go to the prevention of birth defects and low birth-weight babies.
Brock Sloan, John Kuzina, Darren Szot and Joe Kamby will get up at the very crack of dawn and tee off at Cordillera’s Valley Course to play 100 holes of golf (each) in a row, and all in one day.
The pro have been taking $-per-hole sponsorships via the Web and other outreach programs to raise as much money as possible, their goal being to raise a minimum of $5,000 for the March of Dimes’ Colorado wing of the organization.
