VAIL VALLEY, Colorado –Jacqui Slavin of Functional Wellness in Edwards will be offering a comprehensive six-week low-glycemic weight loss program in Eagle in Colorado’s Vail Valley.
A free presentation on the the importance of balanced blood sugar and an information session on the program is set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Fusion Cafe in Eagle.

With the holidays just around the corner, the six-week program is designed to help participants keep the pounds off, and even lose a few more. The six-week program is a comprehensive nutrition, lifestyle and health modification program. It will address weight loss, balancing blood sugar and its relationship to sleep, mood and hormone balancing, brain health, menopause and disease prevention. This is not a diet but a lifestyle program, teaching guidelines for intelligent food selection, with an aim at using food as your best medicine.
