Vail Valley: ‘How Can We Help’
VAIL VALLEY, Colorado” The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration and Trinity Church are co-hosting a public forum to provide guidance and information to the community in Colorado’s Vail Valley during challenging economic times.
Entitled “How Can We Help?”, this forum will gather local pastors and leaders from a variety of nonprofit, educational and governmental entities to introduce their congregations and organizations to the community, provide information about local sources of assistance, and discuss with community members the the ways in which they can best help their neighbors.
“Pastor Ethan and I want to bring together those who need help, or know someone who does, with the wonderful helping organizations and congregations in our valley.” said Father Brooks Keith, Pastor of Transfiguration.
Trinity Pastor Ethan Moore added, “Our valley has a wonderful history of supporting each other in time of need. This gathering seeks to build on this tradition and help our community understand what resources are available during these difficult times.”
Anyone in the community is invited to this public forum on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Church in Edwards. For directions or more information please go to http://www.trinityvail.com/Edwards.htm or call 970-926-1759. Child care will be provided.
