Vail Valley jeweler joins national exhibit

Special to the Vail DailyVail jeweller Jim Cotter made this ring using 14-karat yellow gold, rock, pearl and diamond.

VAIL, Colorado –Vail Valley jeweler Jim Cotter is participating in the an exhibit called “Neo Rococo: Rocks and Shells Interpreted in Contemporary Jewelry Design” at the University of Indianapolis. The exhibit, which also includes jewelers Michael Dale Bernard, Tracy Lee Blank, Helen Blythe-Hart, Molly Gabbard, Jennifer Howard Kicinski, and Randy Long, runs through May 30.

All artists in the exhibit have showed their work around the world. All the work Cotter is exhibiting was made from stones he found in the great outdoors.
