Vail, CO, Colorado

The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute will present “Oasis in Time: The Gift of Shabbat in a 24/7 World,” the institute’s new six-session Spring 2011 course, which will begin in over 350 cities internationally this week.

Rabbi Dovid Mintz of the Chabad Jewish Center will conduct the six sessions at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Inn at Riverwalk in Edwards.

“I see this course as Judaism’s secrets to serenity,” Mintz said.

Like previous programs, “Oasis in Time” is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. All JLI courses are open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue, temple, or other house of worship.
