Vail Valley land management workshop set for March

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” Colorado State University Extension is presenting a “Small Acreage Workshop” in Colorado’s Vail Valley on March 7. It’s geared to people who own property owners that 2 acres to 40-plus acres who don’t have farming or rural living experience ” or for landowners who just want to learn more.

The workshop is focus on land management issues such as water supply, getting rid of weeds and improving soils and pasture quality.

Featured speakers include personnel from the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado State Forest Service and Eagle County Assessor, among others.

The workshop it at Gracious Savior Lutheran Church, 033520 Highway 6 in Edwards, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch at noon. The cost is $30.
