Vail Valley like a New York neighborhood
Vail, CO, Colorado
Dear Linda Stamper Boyne: Kudos to you and your column about the culture in the Vail Valley!
I too am from New York City and moved here three years ago, not by choice. I too had the same attitude as this young man regarding the “lack of things to do culturally” in the Vail Valley.
Now, after three years, I can honestly say the Vail Valley is like a little neighborhood taken out of Manhattan. The only thing missing is a Whole Foods or a Zabars or a Fairway Market (OK, well maybe a subway system would be nice instead of having to drive in the winter!).
