Vail Valley marketing consultant takes message around the world

EAGLE – Vail Valley resident Jeanette McMurtry, a sales and marketing strategist and trainer, will take her message – “Moving from Unique Selling Propositions to Emotional Selling Propositions” – to the Pacific rim region this fall.

Starting in New Zealand, McMurtry will speak in five countries including Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and China, teaching business owners the importance of personalization in marketing, and how to engage customers for lifetime loyalty and increased value. McMurtry will present the keynote address and an in-depth workshop on personalized direct marketing at Innovate Asia 2009 conferences hosted by Fuji Xerox.

“No matter how different our cultures are, we all have the same basic needs to feel happy, connected to others, and fulfilled,” McMurtry said. “Marketers that understand what triggers happiness and feelings of security and respect are those that will secure customers to their brands for life and prosper in good times and bad.”

McMurtry has presented “Emotional Selling Propositions and Inspiring Customer Engagement” for the past several years at business conferences around the world. She also conducts customized sales and strategy training sessions for businesses in industries, including resorts, financial services, health care and print.
